A very tall and fast growing tree requiring structural pruning during establishment. What separates silver maple leaves from other maple leaves are its 5 deep sinuses (or space between each lobe). Tolerates wet sites, even flooding, alkaline soils, and occasional drought. A climate adaptive species. 
 
The plant is 4' tall in a 2 gallon pot.
