On September 9th through the 12th, 2017, Rebuilding Together Baltimore, in partnership with Rebuilding Together’s national headquarters in Washington, D.C. and Wilson Park Northern Neighborhood Association, will be presenting an exciting neighborhood initiative in the Wilson Park Northern neighborhood of Greater Govans. The initiative is entitled “Building a Healthy Neighborhood” and will involve hundreds of volunteers working together over two days to rehabilitate over ten homes, and revitalize Willow Avenue Park. Volunteers will also complete community beautification projects throughout the Wilson Park Northern neighborhood. While the core work of the event is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the community, we understand that there are many other needs within these homes and within the broader neighborhood that we cannot directly address.

community resource fair for Saturday, September 9th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the

Church of the Redeemed of our Lord, 4321 Old York Road, Baltimore, 21212

The hope is that by bringing together a wide variety of organizations in one space, we can provide a large array of needed services to residents of Greater Govans and surrounding communities. We expect anywhere from 200 – 500 people to attend. Rebuilding Together also hopes to utilize this event as an opportunity to connect and develop a deeper working relationship with local organizations that will help us all accomplish our missions and serve our community more fully.
